Planning the next Europe trip!

I'm back! The next trip back to Europe is in progress. We're looking at times in Summer and Fall of 2012. This time, I'll be bringing my wife. :)

Some possible cities this time: Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich, Salsburg, Rome

More to come soon!

Hi, I am planning a backpacker travel through Europe on Summer 2012. Main countries I'd like to go thru are Berlin (where I'll be at Radiohead's concert) and after that I would like to end up in Portugal. But I would prefer going thru villages and small cities, not main cities. My boyfriend will be with me too. My main question is which way to follow from Berlin to Portugal...Where do you suggest us to go. I think our main transport will be by train or bus. Is the first time I plan the backpacker trip.

Hello,

I'm working on a project for a country in Europe trying to get people to travel/backpack their country. If anyone would be willing to email me what inspires you or makes you yearn to go to these places please do!
I'd love to discuss a few things!

Thanks so much

I actually used my iPhone. I bought a 50MB data plan from AT&T and watched it with the AT&T app so I never went over. All of the countries I went to worked perfect and I had coverage. I just used it sparingly. wifi was not an issue at all, there were hotspots all over just as there are in the US! Have a good time on your trip!! Where are you going?

Hi, I'm so jealous! I've always been enchanted with the idea of backpacking through Europe and here you are actually doing it. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do this one day!
